🚙SCREAM IF YOU WANNA GO FASTER
GREEN is fashion and beauty’s hottest colour again, but now, it comes with an eco-conscious futuristic edge. From Victoria Beckham’s Green Satin Kajal Eyeliner, Ariana Grande’s R.E.M. Wicked Collection, to Jade Green Cat Eye nails, emerald lids, moss pigments, and metallic green polishes are giving COOL girl sustainability. The shades feel luxurious, cinematic, and almost inspired by the interiors of futuristic electric vehicles.
That same energy exists in John Friday Icaca’s debut collection for Filimone Margiano. The collection mixes 90s bedazzling excess with sustainability: chunky hardwares, bejeweled embellishments, deadstock nail gems, and random anik-aniks transformed into full runway fantasy. It’s giving Christian Lacroix after a thrift dive around Manila. Instead of buying new materials, Friday reused forgotten accessories, discarded charms, and leftover pieces from designer friends. Kalat became couture.
The mindset feels strangely connected to the rise of electric vehicles like VinFast. Luxury used to mean more consumption, louder engines, and more waste. Now, luxury feels smarter; sleek, futuristic, and environmentally conscious. EVs recharge instead of endlessly consuming fuel, just like fashion is learning how to recycle beauty instead of constantly producing more.
Maybe that’s what real luxury looks like now: not endless consumption, but the ability to transform what already exists into something worth screaming for. Visit VinFast showrooms now! #CoolisinSession #CoolBeauty
