đź““ESTEBAN MARA
At 26, Esteban Mara has learned that growth is often quiet, gradual, and deliberate. A theatre and film actor, his first significant screen appearance came with Got My Eyes on You, a BL series for Puregold on YouTube. The role, co-starring Mikoy Morales, marked his transition from stage to screen.
He later appeared in Batang Quiapo as a policeman alongside Coco Martin. Moving from theatre to television demanded adjustment, yet the discipline honed on stage guided him. Esteban approaches each role with patience, revealing layers of himself slowly.
The pandemic became a period of reflection and restraint. He committed to near-daily workouts, not for show, but to explore his body’s potential thoughtfully, allowing rest where it was needed. A high-protein diet, avoidance of processed food, and consistent fitness routines became part of his daily habit.
Equally important has been his emotional and mental health. Esteban acknowledges his feelings and needs as a path to growth, unwrapping the parts of himself that require care. This awareness extends to skincare and style—through simple routines of cleansing, moisturizing, retinol, and hyaluronic acid, and a considered approach to fashion, he presents a self that is both intentional and authentic.
What makes Esteban cool is not the roles he takes or the routines he follows, but his mindset. “Wala akong pake,” he says—not as detachment, but as freedom. By embracing restraint, he reveals himself selectively, staying authentic, grounded, and present. In unwrapping himself slowly, he continues to grow, both as an actor and as a person. #CoolisinSession #CoolBurnBook
