Pinoy BTS fans celebrate band’s return in one epic watch party powered by PLDT Home Fiber

As the lights dimmed at the historic Gwanghwamun Square in chilly Seoul, the energy was just as electric thousands of miles away in the tropical Philippines. As BTS took the stage to celebrate their highly anticipated new album ARIRANG, Filipino fans shared the same magical moment from home.

On the evening of March 21, PLDT Home gathered its subscribers for an exclusive watch party of BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG – the historic reunion of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook which also marked the launch of the Kpop group’s newest album ARIRANG. The much-awaited comeback signals BTS’ return following their hiatus for mandatory military service, with Netflix livestreaming the 60-minute performance globally.

The watch party took place at Myeongdong Korean Gastropub, Quezon City, treating around 200 BTS fans to a night of food and drinks and fun and games, and making them feel the collective joy of seeing BTS back together on the global stage.
