We caught up with Viva Artist Lance Carr for a COOL, kilig-filled, and inspiring chat.

Before the cameras start rolling, Lance is just "Soy"—a nickname that stuck from his high school days (short for Tisoy).
Favorite Treat: Nothing beats Leche Flan and Ube Ice Cream.
Screen Favorites: He’s a fan of the classic The Parent Trap (Lindsay Lohan version), but when it comes to TV shows, he’s all about their Wattpad series Avenues of the Diamond.
One thing that instantly makes you smile? “When people tell me I inspire them. That hits different.”
The Perfect Date: Forget fancy restaurants; Lance prefers a long road trip, driving around and chasing sunsets.
Stepping Into the LEADING MAN Spotlight
Transitioning into leading roles has been a catalyst for Lance’s personal growth. He views acting as a constant evolution, noting that modern audiences expect more depth and authenticity. "Being a leading man tests my capabilities and my discipline. I use every experience in my life and channel it into my acting to meet people’s expectations." While he’s currently immersed in the horror and thriller genres, his ultimate dream is to headline an action movie or series.
Inside HELL UNIVERSITY
Fans of the massive Wattpad hit are eager to see how Lance handles the intensity of Hell University. The series blends high-stakes survival with romance, a challenge Lance finds "mind-boggling" but rewarding. Recognizing the fame of the story, Lance focuses on giving justice to the role by asking, "What would you do on a bloody night?" Building romance in a dangerous setting requires a specific kind of composure. Unlike typical thrillers, the school setting adds a layer of relatability—watching kids try to survive through their love for one another. Despite the gulat factor, the chills and the thrills, Lance admits his heart truly lies with the Romance genre.

Motivation on Being a GOOD ACTOR
Lance shared that his biggest inspirations growing up were his mom and dad. “I’m doing this for them. They sacrificed so much. They inspire me every day,” he said. As an actor, he also looks up to Enrique Gil. On days when his confidence is low, he reminds himself of his worth. “Remember the people who support you,” he added. “Make sure you don’t go down the wrong path.”
One thing he wants fans to remember him, he's an entertainer. "Making people happy makes me happy. The power of entertaining — that’s real. Lahat may pinagdadaanan. If I can be a source of enlightenment for them, that means everything.”
