🤓COOKING IT UP WITH SCOTT

For Filipinos, the Thai Wave isn’t slowing down anytime soon. From Thai BL dramas to beauty trends and skincare routines, Thailand’s influence on pop culture continues to grow locally — and now, it’s making its way to the kitchen.

Enter Mister International Thailand, Scott Treesongkiat, who brought both charm and flavor to the COOL N.E.R.D section by serving up authentic Thai cuisine with a personal touch. Cooking runs in the family for Scott, whose family owns a restaurant in Thailand, and much of what he knows in the kitchen came from learning alongside his mother.

For the feature, Scott prepared three Thai staples that perfectly captured the country’s bold and comforting flavors: Pad Kra Pao with crispy pork and stir-fried noodles, the refreshing Manao Soda — a honey lemon-lime sparkling drink — and a classic Thai egg-based dessert to complete the spread.

But beyond the kitchen, Scott — whose real name is Kanapol — is more than just a handsome face representing Thailand on the international stage.

Standing at 5’10” tall, Kanapol is the definition of a modern multi-hyphenate. A graduate of sport science from Srinakharinwirot University, he has trained extensively in rowing, boxing, and even piano, balancing athletic discipline with artistic expression.

Raised in Bangkok, he credits his late grandmother for instilling in him the values of honesty, resilience, and compassion. Currently working as a personal trainer, Kanapol hopes to inspire people to become healthier, stronger, and more confident versions of themselves.

His competitive spirit also extends far beyond the gym. He has participated in Spartan Races for three consecutive years and spent over five years competing in rowing, proudly carrying Thailand’s name through every challenge. Yet despite his athletic achievements, one of his most meaningful passions remains music. Kanapol regularly plays piano for hospitalized patients, believing in the healing power of melody and human connection.

Scott hopes to become more than just a representative of style and fitness. He wants to use his platform to encourage others and remind people of their worth. #CoolisinSession #CoolNERD
