JV ESTRADA & TASH MAIERHOFER
Faith. Focus. Forward.
Tayshaun Paul Maierhofer and John Vincent “JV” Estrada come from different sports, but share the same foundation: discipline built in the quiet. For Tash, basketball was inherited—his father, Rico Maierhofer, is a former collegiate and professional standout—but it became personal only when he stopped playing for expectations and started honoring the work. Early mornings, accountability, and patience turned the game into his own.
Those values were reinforced beyond the court. From his aunt, Filipino supermodel Jasmine Maierhofer, Tash learned that professionalism, consistency, and confidence matter as much as talent. After losses, he resets through reflection, prayer, and work, believing that one game never defines him—only his response does.

LIFESTYLE & GAME DAY
Pre-Training & Post-Training Skincare: Pre: cleanse, sunscreen Post: gentle cleanser, moisturizer, recovery-focused care
Fashion / Style Staple: Clean, minimal fits, neutral tones, good shoes, and confidence.
Pre-game Playlist: Motivational hip-hop, Christian R&B, and calm-focus tracks.
Game Day Superstition: Same warm-up routine, same quiet moment of prayer before tip-off.
Favorite Post-game Meal: Rice, lean protein, and something sweet on the side.
One Drill You Hate but Need: Defensive slides and conditioning sprints. no shortcuts.
WHAT MAKES TASH COOL? Faith in God, humility in every result, and discipline in the daily grind. He competes with purpose, honors the process, and trusts that work done the right way will always speak for itself.
JV’s journey mirrors that mindset. Volleyball became real when he left his hometown to become a Benilde student-athlete in Lucena City. Away from the spotlight, it’s solo reps and daily repetition that shape his game. Balancing athletics and modeling demands adaptability, but the lesson remains the same: mistakes are part of growth, and comebacks are always possible.
